The life and times of a Jackson State Community College student.
Aahh, the fallen leaves of every color…the chill of the morning after the first frost….the mid-day sun that warms the air up just enough…autumn is the best! October is normally my favorite month, but this year it was washed away in rain. So, I’ve decided that the beginning of November is one of the prettiest times of the year! I like getting adjusted to the coldness and getting out the jackets and long sleeves and starting to have to wear socks more often than I’d like to but that’s O.K. When you walk around in Wal-Mart now, it’s like the in between time from Halloween and fall to Thanksgiving and Christmas so you see little trick-or-treat candies and jack lanterns on the clearance aisles and candy canes and Christmas trees on the aisle beside that on an early sale. You gotta love that. At my house, we have one of those gas fire places and we are starting to turn it on and it’s so nice. You know how heat from a vent or something gives off a smell that’s almost like something is burning? Well, that gas fire place has a certain smell too but it’s a little nicer than something burning and it makes me feel all warm inside ha. I’m probably the only person that notices it, but it just makes me even more excited about it getting cold outside!
