Hypnotist!!!

Jackson State was THE place to be yesterday afternoon! If you weren’t at the hypnotist’s show, you were missing out. There was Beyonce, Taylor Swift, a pit bull, and a balloon instrument worth $100,000!!! Jim Wand, hypnotist from Chicago, was here doing is annual hypnotist show. I must say, the man is talented! He had about 15 people up on stage sitting in chairs. Once he got them with their eyes closed and under his command, he had them doing some crazy things. The audience, including me, had a blast while we watched all those people make fools of themselves. At one time in the show, the volunteers were all driving motor-cycles while getting chased by the cops. It was pretty crazy how they listened to everything that he said. He had two guys up there that thought they were Beyonce and Taylor Swift, which was definitely my favorite part. Beyonce did her famous “Single Ladies,” and Taylor did “Our Song.” The funny thing was, from what it looked like, the boys enjoyed acting like girls. At the end, he was explaining to them how to wake up from their hypnotism. He told them that when they woke up, they would go to their friends and give them a “special dance.” So, on the count of three they all stood up and boogied down back into the audience. Jackson State surprises me all the time with everything they have going on from the hypnotist to the beauty pageant or the back-to-school bash! I’m never bored here, that’s for sure.
